ISSUES

TRANSPARENCY
When residents show up and speak up at city meetings, a public servant’s job isn’t to silence them. It’s to listen, to serve, and to remember we work for the citizens of Hoover.
As mayor, I will implement clear policies that ensure financial decisions, city projects, and long-term planning are conducted transparently, allowing citizens to be informed and hold city leadership accountable. I am 100% committed to transparency, accountability, and leadership that continues to listen.

PUBLIC SAFETY
Under my leadership as police chief, Hoover has become one of the safest cities in Alabama. Still, we must remain vigilant, as rising crime can quickly erode our quality of life and lead to lower property values.

As mayor, no one would be more qualified to select a new police chief who understands what it takes to protect our city, neighborhoods, and schools. I will support our police, firefighters, and other first responders to ensure that they have the necessary manpower and resources to keep Hoover safe as our city continues to grow.

EDUCATION
Hoover City Schools have been a key factor in our city’s success, and I will work closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and state leaders to ensure that school funding remains a top priority for the city. Our children deserve an education that prepares them for every façade of life.

If elected, I will double down on our School Resource Officer program because nothing is more important than the safety of our kids.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Every taxpayer dollar must be accounted for, spent wisely, and used to improve our city, not wasted on reckless spending, unprofessionalism, or bad backroom deals. According to the Kroll report, city leadership has neglected city departments, resulting in years of problematic financial reporting. That is unacceptable.
Hoover desperately needs leadership, organization, and transparency, and I have the experience and skills our city needs now more than ever.

ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT
When you fail to plan, you have planned to fail, and under our current leadership, Hoover has suffered from a lack of vision and planning. Well-planned and strategic growth benefits both new businesses and established businesses, as well as our citizens.

As mayor, I will implement a strategic economic development plan to strengthen existing businesses and attract new ones while preparing our city’s infrastructure and services to handle new growth. Hoover is better than empty storefronts and shopping centers.

WHY I'M RUNNING
Hoover is a great city, but we need strong, accountable leadership to ensure it remains that way.
Leadership that prioritizes safety, smart financial management, and open, honest government.
